Business Booms Ahead of Eagle’s Playoff Game
Over at Lee’s Hoagie House on Castor Avenue…
“I have some pre-orders for tomorrow already for hoagie trays, cheesesteaks, salads and wings,” said owner John Connell. His family owned and run business has been around for 65 years so they’re pro’s at the fan-demand.
“We’ll be in here tomorrow morning cutting, preparing for the day and taking orders all day long. Hopefully before the game, halftime, when the Eagles win and after that,” said Connell.
Food sales are only half the battle when it comes to this game. Even businesses are thinking about more than that.
“It’s very big for us and the Eagles. We hope the Eagles get a win,” said Mitchell.
